Bounce Black is a peer support community for Black students, graduates and professionals who are navigating mental health and trauma while managing a career. Founded by Nikki Adebiyi -- an expert by experience who knows these challenges firsthand — the mission of Bounce Black is fourfold:

1. To create a safe space for young Black people affected by mental illness and/or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs); 
2. To foster a stretching and supportive network that centers and celebrates the people and achievements overlooked by popular narratives of “Black Excellence”;
3. To make psychoeducation more widely accessible and culturally relevant to Black people;
4. To provide a platform from which to advocate for culturally nuanced, trauma-informed services, systems and institutions.

Through curated content and meaningful merchandise, Bounce Black aims to encourage people to break both cycles and ceilings, and leave a holistic legacy for future generations.
